The Inspector Supervisor Course is designed to qualify individuals to provide technical supervision of Authorized Inspectors and Owner/User Inservice Inspectors. Topics common to all supervisors are taught in classroom lecture format, then supplemented with workshops and breakout sessions for training more specific to the work of the Inspectors.

Completion of this course is one of the requirements for receiving the National Board Authorized Inspector Supervisor B Endorsement or the Owner/User Inspector Supervisor O Endorsement.

Criteria for Completion

To receive a Certificate of Completion with IACET CEUs to be issued, students must:
  • be in attendance* every day,
  • actively participate in classroom activities and discussions, and
  • complete homework assignments and quizzes.

*Attendance is required to be eligible to sit for the final exam. Students missing more than 10% of class will be required to make up the sessions missed.
