Repair/Replacement Activities for ANIIs, is an online course  designed to provide knowledge to the Authorized Nuclear Inservice Inspector (ANII) for repair/replacement activities found primarily in ASME Section XI, IWA-4000. This course covers the major topics of IWA-4000 and includes a realistic scenario at the end of the course.

Learning Outcomes
After completing this course, students will be able to:  

  • Describe the general requirements for performing repair/replacement activities, including associated terms and their definitions.
  • State the Owner's responsibilities for repair/replacement activities.
  • Explain code requirements for design, material, and configuration changes.
  • Discuss welding and fabrication details.
  • Identify and recognize Requirements for Nondestructive Examination and personnel requirements as related to repair/replacement activities.

Although not required, each student may find it helpful to have the following materials (currently mandated edition):

  • ASME Section XI, Rules for Inservice Inspection of Nuclear Power Plant Componets
