Fracture Toughness
Requirements for Material, is an online course designed for the authorized nuclear inspector,
covering the requirements of fracture toughness testing as described
in ASME Section III, Div. 1, Subsection NB
.

Explain the Owner's responsibility to identify impact requirements through the certified Design Specification.
Differentiate
and determine when impact testing and drop weight
testing is required for construction.
Determine acceptable standards and retesting requirements for materials.
Describe
the Authorized Nuclear Inspector's (ANI) duties as it relates to impact

Criteria
for Successful Completion
As a minimum, for a National
Board Certificate of Completion to be issued, students must:
