Welding Documents, is an online course designed to provide the necessary steps to accurately review information provided within a Procedure Qualification Record (PQR) and Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) to determine if they are in compliance with ASME Section IX requirements .

Learning Outcomes
After completing this course, students will be able to:  

• Explain AI responsibilities when verifying WPS and PQR welding documents.
• Verify the accuracy of content on the following sample specifications using ASME Section IX code requirements:
  • Welding Procedure Specification (WPS)
  • Procedure Qualification Record (PQR)
• Locate requirements using ASME Section IX.

Criteria for Successful Completion
As a minimum, for a National Board Certificate of Completion to be issued, students must:
