Certified Individual: Reinforced
Thermoset Plastic Equipment, is an online course
designed for ASME "RTP" certificate holders to
prepare their employees for designation as Certified Individuals. The
focus is on the Certified Individual's responsibilities, duties, and
ASME Code requirements applicable to reinforced thermoset plastic fabricators.
Although this
course is designed for the Certified Individual, anyone involved
with reinforced thermoset plastic fabrication and inspection may
benefit from this training.

Outcomes
After completing this course, students will be able to:
Locate key information in the ASME Boiler and Pressure
Vessel Code, that relates to RTP Corrosion-Resistant Equipment.
Identify the main duties of a Certified Individual.
Describe the purpose of the ASME form related to
reinforced
thermoset plastics and determine when it should be used.
