A Review of
Jacketed Vessels, is an online course designed to familiarize the student with jacketed
vessels and their ASME Section VIII, Division 1 requirements. After
reviewing the different types of jacketed vessels, students learn about the
associated pressures, loadings, and temperatures. Next,
students receive an overview of Section VIII, Division 1 Appendix 9 and
the rules governing design and construction of jacketed vessels.
The training concludes with discussing pressure testing and markings,
and how data reports for jacketed vessels are completed.
