OutcomesAfter completing this course, 
students will be able to:
 Define preheat and 
  interpass temperatures.           Definte key 
  concepts related to preheating.         
       Explain why local 
  PWHT is needed.        Define key terms and concepts 
  related to local PWHT.    Identify portions of the 
  NBIC that pertain to local PWHT. Explain alternative welding methods in lieu of 
  PWHT.Identify alternative welding methods presented in the NBIC and 
  explain their requirements.
