Certified Individual:
Cast Iron Boilers, is an online course
designed for ASME "H" certificate holders to
prepare their employees for designation as Certified Individuals. The
focus is on the Certified Individual's responsibilities, duties, and
ASME Code requirements applicable to cast iron boiler manufacturers.
Although this course is designed for the Certified Individual, anyone
involved with cast iron construction and inspection may benefit from this
training.

After completing this course, students will be able to:

Locate key information in the ASME Boiler and
Pressure Vessel Code,
Section IV, that relates to cast iron boilers.
Identify the main
duties of a Certified Individual.
Describe the purpose of the various ASME forms related to
cast
iron boilers and determine when they should be used.

Criteria
for Successful Completion
As a minimum, for a National
Board Certificate of Completion to be issued, students must:
