Calibration:
ASME Code Requirements, is an online course designed to provide
knowledge to the new construction inspector in the area of Code requirements
concerning calibration of gages, measurement devices, examination devices, and
testing devices. Also included are the responsibilities of the Authorized
Inspector in verifying compliance during construction of Code items.

Outcomes
After completing this course, students will be able to:
Understand the need for calibration.
Identify
ASME Code paragraphs in which calibration is required.
Explain calibration requirements for pressure gages, measuring devices,
examination devices, and testing equipment.
Describe
methods by which these gages and devices are calibrated.

Criteria
for Successful Completion
As a minimum, for a National
Board Certificate of Completion to be issued, students must:
